A Tip For All You Propel Drinkers

*
Well we discovered this little fitness water when we were in Florida as a hydrant. I am not a big water drinker or fitness water drinker (I know that's bad) I do however really like propel on occasion.

Here's the thing if you like Propel or want to try it, there is a cheaper way to do it. Powders do not usually taste the same as the already mixed stuff, when it comes to Propel it does.

So a 6 pack of Propel is like $2.97 at Wal-Mart, which may be a little different depending on where you live or shop. You can buy a box of Propel powder with 10 powder packages in it for the same price with all the same flavors.

Now just that alone is a better savings 10 versus 6, but the powder packages stretch out more than that. We noticed that you didn't even have to use one whole packet for the amount of water you get in one bottle at the store and it still tasted just as good.

Most places you go will have plain water and it is so nice to be able to just carry around your little powder packets instead of big bottles of water. Of course you need to have something to mix it in if you are not going where they have glasses or cups. :)

I don't drink Propel or other fitness waters. We spend plenty on bottled water as it is. We just recently bought a new fridge with ice & filtered water in the door & that has helped some, but we still need the portability of bottled water. If the economy tanks, we'll have to reconsider.

Ah yes Cube, but fitness water has all those electralights and minerals you are missing out on. :)
We started using it when we lived in Florida, because of all the sweating you do just standing there let alone if you are playing tennis or something like that. :)
Ummmm of course I haven't played tennis in a.. well since my son has been born and it shows. lol

If I buy water I buy Arrowhead spring water but when it comes right down to it as long as it don't make me sick water is water. Thats my 2 cents on it.

I'm with you Truckindog...sorry Laurie, just not in to flavored water. I have to make myself drink regular water and the flavored stuff just seems wrong. I don't like Gatorade, either. You are exactly right, though, about sweating so much in Florida and needing electrolytes to replenish your system. But, potassium, sodium and chloride can be found in fresh fruits and I'd much rather eat a peach, apple, or handful of berries than drink artificially flavored water.

@ Trukindog, lol
See I so hear ya on that, well I don't really care for the sewer smell water from some wells with lots of iron, Yuck!!

@ Lakelandmom, damn I looked everywhere how to spell electrolytes, you know cause I use that word so often. :) I found electralites spelled like this even on Dr. Phil's site. lol no really I did.

I am not going back and deleting my comment back to Cube, because I spelled the wrong stuff. :)

Cube, Trukingdog and Lakelandmom
You 3 just remember what I said and when you pass out from lack of minerals and sodium and so on. Then you will remember what I tried to tell ya all!!! *laughing*

Well lakelandmom does have her peaches, but I think you would have to eat a lot.!!

LMAO!!

I am sorry *laughing* No I have not been drinking, well just Propel, oh my gosh, don't drink it!!!

That's great advice. I had been spending a "fortune" on frozen limeade just to have a little something sweet to drink when I get home each day. With salaries low and bills high, a little shortcut is always great to know!

I love Propel water. And I keep a box of that Propel powder in my desk at work.

Great minds think alike!

@ Tabby, I know with the prices of everything this is what we had to do. Soda and everything is so flippin expensive, not to mention drinking soda and alike all the time isn't the greatest and Logan loves propel too.

@ HoosierGirl5, yes great mind do think alike. lol
