I have known who Carrie Fisher is and was in her movies. Who could ever forget the original Star Wars Trilogy with Princess Leia.
Also Carrie's fight with Bi Polar, what a women and being able to come out with all her trial and errors and life depressions on this issue, Good for you Carrie!!
These are not however the quick fact I am talking about. Being a classic movie and musical watcher at times that I am, I had no idea Carrie Fisher's mom was Debbie Reynolds!!
Maybe you knew that, but all this time I had no idea, until now.

Oh, I forgot to mention...I am familiar with the character Princess Leah, but didn't know she was played by Carrie Fisher until now, so thanks for sharing that. Unless you had said so, I would have thought you were talking about another one of your American Idol people... lol.
I looked it up and I'm not crazy...no wonder I didn't know who D.R. is, I don't watch those sorts of movies! (in case you are reading this and you don't know either..."those sorts of movies" does not mean xxx, it means "old theatricals". I never got in to Sinatra, Dobie, etc.
So there you have it, I saved you the trouble of explaining, I did my own research. You can thank me later.
@ Trukindog, glad I wasn't the only one that didn't know. lol her father is Eddie Fisher. When Carrie Fisher was a toddler her father deserted her and her mother for Elizabeth Taylor. Yikes, Ouch!!!

Also Princess Leah, like we all spelled it in the day was actually Princess Leia Organa on Star Wars. :)
How can you not know who Debbie Reynolds is??? She had played in several other movies, older sure, but that were not theatrical. I know you have never been the whole classical/musical movie person.

OUCH! I felt a sting! Geeezzz, it's not like I didn't know Demi Moore or Bruce Willis or Will Smith or somebody like that...well, I guess if you're into the whole lame musical/theatrical 50's crap, you should definitely know who she is, so if that's your idea of perfect, then so be it! I don't belong to your club.
Note: to all those reading this, this is just friendly banter between Laurie and myself. After all, if you can't be goofy with your best friend, what's the point? Besides, it wouldn't be a good day if we didn't raz each other about SOMETHING! : )
