Well some of you know by one of my earlier post that my Father-In-Law was diagnosed with Mantel Cell Lymphoma stage B (cancer and it is not curable.) If you didn't know, you can go here and read the first post on this.
My Father-In-Laws treatments were going okay, he wasn't getting sick or anything and yesterday all Hell Broke Loose!!!!
Logan and I were on our way to pick my father-in-law and my one sister-in-law up yesterday, when I didn't see them outside I just felt something was wrong. My sister-in-law L came out and told me "Dad wasn't breathing well and turned white as a ghost." Oh Crap! I thought, so I parked the car and went in with Logan.
To make a long story short they rushed him to the hospital yesterday, his body wasn't getting enough oxygen and was starting to shut down. They got him stabilized lastnight and this morning we got a call that his Kidneys had failed. Oh Sh..... !! this time I thought, well I might have actually said that out loud.
By this afternoon they said after a bunch of test his body was stabilizing again and everything was working on it's own, even the kidneys, but only at 16%. All the test they ran they couldn't tell why exactly the kidneys were reacting this way, but they would probably release him tomorrow if his body continued improving and being strong like it was.
So we got a call about 2 hours ago from a family member who has been at the hospital forever, all the kids have been rotating so someone is always there. my father-in-laws stomach is huge bloated and as hard as a rock and they don't know why. My husband and his one brother along with a couple of sisters headed down there.
They were going to be taking him in for X-rays to see now what in the world is going on. I have not heard anything yet.

You and your family will be in my prayers
Thank you very much lot 2 Learn, there is still no word on my father-in-law either.
He is still in the hospital and they have no idea what's going on with him.
Praying for all the family members for peace of mind and to work together lovingly. For your fatherinlaw to extend his life and health for at least 2yrs or more.
In the name of Yeshua(Jesus)Christ.
Thank you Cando, it means alot.
I just can't believe the doctors are not finding out what is going on. They know they are missing something, but they don't know what.
I have a snicking suspicion that it could be his body is just not going to handle the treatments and maybe that was the cause for all this.
oh gosh! thats horrible. your father in law will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks a bunch Kelly,we are going to need it for sure.
That also explains why I haven't been on everyones sites that I like to visit, including yours. It has been a mad house around here.
It never fails to amaze me just how fragile we humans are. If it is any comfort to you & your family, my prayers will be added to the others already in the pack.
Cube, it does seem that way at times, that we can be so fragile.
Yes, support with all of you and your thoughts and prayers is great and so appreciated. I know it also helps me, both having an outlet to all of you blogging about this and all the support, it keeps me sane. :)
You know my prayers are with you and your husband and his family. Hang in there, you'll all get through it so long as you are there for each other and everyone is involved.
Thanks so much Lakelandmom, yes I know your prayers are with us.
I know my father-in-law having 7 kids and my husband being the youngest, it is amazing how different they all deal with what is going on. I mean as far as emotions, they have have all been rotating shifts at the hospital and trying to take care of each other as well as their father.
TO ALL:
My father-in-law is still in the hospital, but he is doing much better and him and I talked a few on the phone this afternoon. They still don't know the cause of all this yet and still haven't ruled out that the cancer treatments could have caused all this.
I came to your blog through CFHusband's blog....your comment on which charity should get the money...anyways....My dad was diagnosed in April with Mantle Cell Lymphoma also. He just completed his bone marrow transplant and is back home trying to wait on all the counts to come back up. If you ever want to contact me about this I'd love to hear from you!!!! Kim
Thank You Bates, that is a great idea to contact each other for sure. You and your dad are in my heart and prayers.
Cancer is such a nasty nasty thing and it comes in so many shapes and sizes, effects every age, it really really sucks!!
I think there should be blog out reach groups for families and open counseling that everyone can see, participate in if they want and so on. I suppose there is probably already somewhere.
Thank you so much for visiting,
hang in there and take care. :)
