Ice Fishing at it's Finest

So ice fishing for us this year has pretty much Sucked!!!

We have been going out on weekends and then some and caught very little.

I have however caught the most out of my hole ( fishing hole) people !!

My husband and one brother-in-law worked very hard on a permanent fish house this year and got it out on the lake, that has been awesome.

We haven't had a whole lot of luck with Walleye at all this year though and with the season ending Feb. 28th and fish houses having to be off the lake the same time, the fish need to stop lolly gagging. :)

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!! Ours was pretty great, very very busy though.

I am back and things are going to be a little different. :)

I am going to touch on subjects that I have serious opinions on and I want to find out your views and takes on them, etc.

Alive and Well

Hello All !! yes I am still alive and well.

I know I have really truly sucked as a blogger the last couple of months, for reasons that have been both personal and an extreme anger towards adsense. :)

I know I have done, what I didn't like that some other bloggers did by not posting regularly and so on and having a pretty dormant page. I am truly sorry about that.

Before I go into all that as far as adsense and so on, I will do some other posts. I will say hi to as many of you as I can as quickly as I can.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE !!!!!

I know it is a shocker I am actually doing a new post !!!

First, I hope you all have a wonderful and very safe Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend!!!

Start lining up those designated drivers now and make sure they are dependable!! :)

We are doing better here and it was decided that we would do Thanksgiving at our place this year. When I say decided, what I mean is my husband and I were told that the family wanted to come here and do it at are place. lol

I guess the adults like the fact we have toddler toys or something. :)

Our place is quite a bit smaller than some of the other families homes, so this should be very interesting. Really though we don't mind and it has giving us something to put ourselves into that takes our minds of everything else, even if for just a short time.

Again have a great Thanksgiving !!!!!!!!!

AWESOME SERVICE !!!!!

Again I just wanted to say, thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, prayers and concern.
Things are getting a little better as far as the stress and all the other stuff that was going on with my father-in-laws passing.

We all still miss him terribly and it just still doesn't seem real at times. All the siblings are dealing with this in their own way and are hanging in there as well as can be expected.

The service was awesome!!! They had the 21 gun solute, etc. and I was so lost for words when we saw how many people showed up for my father-in-laws actual service, lots! We had picked a local place for everyone to meet after the service, figured there would be more people there, because of the distance to drive where the service was being held.

I saw faces I hadn't seen in years there, to pay there respect and it was a wonderful thing to witness. Of course sad at the same time and we talked of how we wished it was under a different circumstance to get so many of us together at one time.

I will start posting more now that thing are getting under control a bit and emotionally I feel I can now and actually want to. There has been a bit there where I just couldn't get myself motivated to get on line period and not to mention being so swamped with everything we had to do.

My Father-In-Law Passed

I am so very very sorry I have not even done a post in a week. I have been getting e-mails and so on wondering if everything was okay and no it is not.

2 days after I had done my last post my mom and brother arrived here at our house from Florida and I was so excited and a couple days after that my father-in-law went down hill rapidly and he passed away on Friday.

It was very very sad and even though we new this day would come, nothing really ever prepares you for it. He did go in his sleep, which that we are thankful for.

His services have been postponed until this coming Friday, gosh I don't even know what that date is.

Then on top of everything else all the paper work and attorney stuff that we all thought was all together and taking care of before he died, well it wasn't together like we thought. So why we are all still in morning over his very recent passing, we are having to deal with all this crap, stress, and STUFF and run around like chickens with our heads cut off. !!!!!

Most the time I don't know if we all know if we are coming or going.

My father-in-law will be deeply missed by all who knew him. :(
